Water pump

It appears that the water pump may be leaking. Going to purchase it from autozone tomorrow, any pointers on the installation will be appreciated.

What he means is the 13mm bolts, go into the water jacket and you want sealer on those threads.

Beyond that.. prep to drop the ps pump (2 13's at 12 and 6 through the pulley)
Otherwise..it's cake.

few other pointers, loosen the 4 bolts on the pulley, then take the belt off. the power steering pump needs to come off to clear the one long bolt on that side, and the lower idler pulley for the sc belt needs to come off to clear a long bolt on that side. some have a t50 torx to remove it, check that before tearing it apart that you have the right tool for it.

Four of them are so corroded, I'm afraid to reuse them. I don't want them to break on installation or future removal.

why not? find a nut that fits the bolt, now you know your size pitch and if its metric or english.

just make sure the new ones are not longer.

if at my local ace or true value, i just ask for help, they know where all the bolts are and actually get me in and out much faster 99% of the time.

home depot/lowes, your on your own pretty much help blows theres most of the time, not that you cant still find what you need. just makes life easier sometimes.

ill ask for directions too after a while if lost lol

Should I get grade 5 or 8 and should I use antisieze on the base of the bolts. I already have stuff for the bolts that go in the water jacket.

I replaced the pump and now the radiator cap is leaking. I ordered the ac delco replacement, I hope the added pressure to the system doesn't cause something else to leak.
