Water leak 2002 grand prix

2002 grand prix( not Gt) 3100 engine I have a water leak under a plate that bolts to the engine. I replaced the small hose. (AutoZone called in a bypass hose).. . there seems to be no gasket under plate and a single bolt holds the plate to engine. I was told at AutoZone there might be an O ring that needs to be replaced. Any idea about the difficulty of this repair?
 


The metal hose that is on the front of the engine? It has an o ring that does need replaced if you don't want it to leak.
