I got my cabin fiilter at Crappy tire.. costs like $15 or something, but sure cheaper then 30
Canadian tire.
Out here, CT wanted $21 and change, and they had to special order it. For a $4 savings, and holding up the project for at least a week isn't worth it to me.I got my cabin fiilter at Crappy tire.. costs like $15 or something, but sure cheaper then 30
Yup. :th_laugh-lol2:well theres your problem.
get outta BC lol
that plastic bag i installed over the dead beat up deflector is still working loland was free.
How do you keep the fan from sucking it in? I picture it getting sucked down and blocking off the opening altogether or coming loose and getting sucked into the fan. Just curious.
so will this divert all of the water? lol
I need to try this as well, but I can't get my wipers off :th_angry-cussing:. I tried removing my wiper arms when I did this install so I could take the cowling off and I couldn't get it, damn 1 piece cowling.i also sealed the top rubber stripping (small bead of caulk) to rule that out as well

ya I had taken the nuts off but I couldn't get it off as hard as I pulled, I'll have to try a pry bar next time, or see if one of the mechanics where I work can help me.under the cap is a nut at the base of the wiper, i used a claw hammer or a pry bar, cant remember witch, to pop mine lose.
i have a 2 piece cowl only one wiper has to come off that way.
i broke this sucker off http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v249/KCPM/Jays Photos/GBP/waterdeflector/DSC01280.jpg

Whats wrong with gluing the rubber seal back in place?
Thats all I did.
