I downloaded FL 8 last night, been fooling with it today but it's so hard...

I've been messing with the guitar but it's irritating cuz it sounds good at first but it keeps ringing and doesn't stop.... argh I don't know what I'm doing, I wish I had a tutorial that would walk me through everything
