• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Want to lower your car? Look in here!!

alright guys i know this might be a stupid question but i dont know, how do anti-pogo washers work?

i have ebiach springs with gabriel ultra struts (not installed yet) i bought these struts because there lifetime warranty so i figured when the springs where out the struts i can always get new ones

I think Monroe's website was eff'd, claiming nothing was short, seemed odd. No one will give me their numbers.

I'm thinking about trying to find another car that has coilovers that will fit the fronts. I'm going to look into the Maxima's

ok. its official.
i need to do something about my rear fenders.
i'm tired of rubbing on EVERYTHING.

help?

take your rear wheels off. using a heat gun, heat up the lip on the fenders until they are HOT to the touch.

use a rubber mallet and bend the lip of the fender up, slowly working your way around so it all goes up at the same time. KEEP IT HOT.

that's seriously all there is to it. that's how i've done all mine. the roller is just 'cleaner', but the hammer method will yield a flatter roll without pulling the fender.

How this mod works: The top strut mount on the front fenders have a retaining nut along with a retainer cap; this will hold the strut rod, which comes through the center of the mount, in place. With the stock springs, this retainer is in direct contact against a rubber cushion underneath it, this is what directly connects the strut to the mount. With lowering springs, this retaining cap is raised up about a quarter to a half inch, so the strut is no longer firmly secured against the mount! What this means is that the spring can bounce up and down this tiny bit before the strut even begins to act on it.

i dont think its that hard you just need to use a spring compressor then take apart your struts and put the new lowering springs in

i did my front ones in 15minutes and rear in half an hour. was my first time doing that job too. air tools help

Cradle spacers to help with the height of the SSIC...Zzp sells them. And you wont able to use those shorter dogbones with those fancy headers you acquired.

fixed lol and i was planning on getting them, i didnt know you couldnt use shorter dog bones with pacesetters

Excuss me fancy pants lol. Yup shorter dogbones are for stock manifolds...any set of headers wont allow short DB. If all else fails with the Vinnie Spacers you dont have to run the full set. You can run a half set if your having clearance issues.

thanks i didnt know that, id have to look into it more the only reason i have clearance issues is because of that damn SD hood
