Will springs advertised for a 97-03 car work on an '08 GXP?

I've got a buddy wanting to get some B&Gs. Might be the first new body style GP I've seen with them.

i know the 97-03 springs work on 04+ cars, but are the GXP suspensions the same? i think they are.

I'm inclined to believe the only reason our cars have bilstein struts is because of the GXP.

As I said, i'm inclined to believe it but I have no basis for this assumption.

sure, but why would you want to do that?

if you're putting lowering springs on quick struts: youre going to blow the struts.

if youre putting the springs on something else: why not just get lowering springs?
