VW radiator install for IC heat exchanger

I heard of this done and did search but cannot find a good write up. People us a VW radiator as a heat exchanger. It seems to me more efficient and cheaper. I want to keep my AC and I remember awhile back someone doing it but cannot find it. I currently have a ZZP one but it is to dam low since I am lowered. Going to be converting to a 2inch stack and would like to upgrade.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
