2.8 if you put stock rockers back on..
If you leave the 1.7s on... Probably a 3.2 would be all you can do before you start floating.
I was able to do the 2.8 with the SIX. The SIX is just slightly more aggressive than the VS cam.
I didn't see the 1.7 RR earlier in your post. You will for sure be able to run the 2.8.....Maybe even shoot for the 2.6
VS cam with 1.7 RR = more lift than VS cam with stock rockers....I don't see why he would run a bigger pulley. Should be the other direction and run a smaller pulley.
Valve float won't be an issue with 130# springs. Even with the VS and 1.7RR combo it's about the same lift as a stage 3 cam.
its about the same lift as a is3 with stock rockers. i was running the 1.7s with the is3 too.
