Hey guys. I figure that this is a good place for this.

My daughter is in a contest to sing the National Anthem at the Iowa State Fair this year. They take the top 11 to sing one person each of the 11 days of the fair, but the #1 spot gets to sing for the opening ceremonies.

I am trying to get this out to everyone I know, and since I am on grandprixforums.net every day, I thought, why not put it here.

You just go to the link, register, and then vote. You get 5 votes per account per day and the contest ends in 2 weeks. That comes out to actually 15 days, or 75 votes possible per registered account.

I'd really appreciate the help!

Thank you to those that have been voting. She has managed to stay in the lead today instead of dropping to 2nd and back to 1st and so on.

Got the call this morning that she won, surprise, surprise... She will get to sing twice that day, gets tickets to a grandstand show, etc. It would be interesting if they put the final "scores" up, but not a big deal if they don't...
