I'm on e85 as of last week and loving every second of it.

The race was from a 40 roll and I started in 2nd gear... he takes a hit and I do a nice burnout and catch at about 80. I've got new tires now that hook a lot better than the other ones but they're still spinning pretty good from a 2nd gear roll.

2V, Strim @ 8psi + full bolt on's...I would guess anywhere between 360-390 whp depending on the tune. From a 40 roll, judging by how hard you pulled on him, stock gearing? Good kill man.
 


It's pretty clear from the video that not only was he in the right gear but he also stole the hit. Good thing that those centrifugal blower cars don't hit like an n/a or a pd blower car. By the time he got info boost and moving it was already over :)

I have stock gears and I believe that car did as well.

edit: wierd how a 2011 v6 300 hp can keep up better then a 2000 style mustang gt with a turbo..
 
i pulled a similar setup gt in my 03 when it was stock minus drop in filter. not as bad as you did tho.

on another note a local guy had stock 02 gt w/s trim at 17#'s. made 48x rwhp. for a year til she popped. lol

He already did boss, and there is just as much butthurt if not more from your fellow Wbody brethren on clubgp then on any "rustang" forum. And what "BS about 3 Valves" is somebody going to say to disprove this video? Lulz, that's neither here nor there.

At least that's the way I understood it. I noticed you mentioned this GT claimed only 330 horsepower. That seems kinda low for an s trim 2v, but who knows. In any event, that makes this video much more believable....well for a snowflake video anyway:p

thankyou i was really stumped on that but that makes perfect sense, but like blue said did the stang start in the wrong gear? seemed laggy for being boosted.
 
You guys should look at some dyno graphs of a centrifugal blower car making ~330whp. The Mustang had stock gears which is what killed him most. He started in 2nd gear and never let out.
I mean he was spotting me 70whp and a piss poor power curve... gotta count for something.

Also in the race with the v6 was started from 20 and it was spin city, short shift, spin, short shift, hook, downshift, pull.
 
vortec cars in general make impressive numbers but like stated its a very narrow powerband. Anywho, good kill

Please update this post to smaller TVS? The blowzilla car was done years before you even thought about buying a Regal.
