volumetric efficiency of N/A, SC, TC, and twincharged L67

OP you need to troll TCG zephthechef has a turbo setup with a gt500 blower in a park avenue........

plenty about that car and build thread over there. ive got a few very indepth pm's from him in why he kept the supercharger. it makes tlretarded torque so i dont really see the point since down low it just blows the tires off.

turbo and boost by gear setup would be ideal these cars make plenty of tq in any boosted application.

just my take on it.

I suggested a clutch should be used to disengage the supercharger when the turbo took over, but the cost of a clutch is going to be excessive.

I've seen that in a movie once (mad max), lol...

but really, I'm not aware of a clutch driver pulley system being installed on a SC functionally, correct me if I'm wrong! But I don't think there would be a clutch that small that could handle the load, or a rotor shaft that could handle the strain. The clutch even if it would grab, wouldn't last too long, let alone with smaller pulleys where RPM's are crazy, heat is crazier. That's why there's the bypass valve... Just my $.02 lol

If I remember correctly, Mercedes-Benz had a twin charged 4 cylinder that used an electric clutch

I wondered if the Kompressor would get mentioned. Hairdryer lol. No useful input. N/A overbored Pontiac 400s are capable of remarkable VE. Thats all from me.

Its really easy to drive, street manners are excellent. I guess im just accustomed to driving it that i dont roast the tires every time i get on it. She hooks pretty damn well with the NT555s. It just goes.

Bah.. a white NA regal felt faster off the line than your car :th_jester:
