Volume changes on its on what's the problem?

Ok guys lately I've been driving the car turn the volume up and for maybe a 1 minute it will be fine then the volume lowers and its hard to get the volume at the same level it was originally at I can turn the knob but regardless it still lowers and ideas on what it could be?

OEM radio?

It's called speed controlled volume. It's supposed to increase as you drive faster and decrease as you slow down. My experience is that it doesn't do it well at all.

my 03 gmc had that feature, it had a way to turn it off. it sucked. if its a oem radio check your owners manual.
