What colour are your vogtland springs?

What color are the Vogtland springs you have on your car? I am starting to wonder if my black Vogtlands are actually Vogtlands at all.

they are usually a purple color if vogtland. i have a set of their coilovers at home with purple springs on them.

My ebay "vogtlands" are black as well.

Did you try to register them?

Now you've got me questioning their origin.

Just tried calling, says they're busy. Will try back later today.

Pretty much all I'm going to ask is if around spring 2011, if part number 959206 could have been made in a black powder coating, and if not, what is the colour they are supposed to be. Also if the vogtland logo should be on them.

matt, if you tried their number in cali (951-694-6981) they are never going to answer. i've been calling that number all week and have sent emails. nothing.

i want to know the spring rates on my coilovers, but apparently the place is a ghost town.

Well **** then.

After looking at shots of other "real" vogtlands, I'm thinking these are fakes.

Namely because there is a card that "convieniently" explains the front and rear part numbers are not going to be what the box says.

Now i'm going to go get those numbers and google them.

Most likely what will happen here is I will buy eibachs and throw them on.

They're cheap enough, and it'll lower my car 0.5-1.0" instead of stock ride heightness.

It seems like we bought them at around the same time. I got mine from AJUSA.Com.

Mine are black with no markings of any sort on them. The weird thing is that people have said my car seems lower than others that have the redish colored Vogtlands.

Mine have markings on them. fronts say VA 959206, rears say 959217HA

no vogtland symbol or any other markings.

I have an e-mail in to them so we will see if they respond.

I also created a thread on ClubGP and am planning on a few other forums too. So far between the two we have 3 red and 2 black and 1 black from GMPP.

Matt or Bio can you add a poll to this thread?

I have a set of rear Vogtlands sitting here, they're purple and marked "vogtland sport suspension" in white print with PN 959217HK

I know a guy that got the gmpp kit back in the day that came with vogtlands and koni struts and his are black

I'm pretty sure I got mine from ajusa less than a year ago and mine are purple with the part number and vogtland in white on the springs. And they came in a vogtland box.

At one point the fronts were black and the rears violet. My bro's are all violet and he got them from ajusa back in 2011 sometime.

I just looked through my E-mails and I bought mine from AJUSA- 4/28/2010...

Something isn't adding up here.

I also noticed that I E-mailed Vogtland back at that same time and they responded. I will see what happens with E-mail I just sent to them.
