vinyl repair?

I have a 2000 GTP with a grayish interior; the driver's side seat on the door side is cracking up. When I bought the car, a piece of the vinyl was missing, maybe 3 inches long. Is there someplace where I can buy a piece of vinyl to glue over the damage area? Something near the GM slate blue or charcoal or whatever they call it. A patch the same color would look better than a hole and crack.

Go to your local Auto upholstery store and see if they can match the material for you. If you don't mind the extra expense you can have the seats completely recovered for around $500.

I was hoping for a place where I could order a peice. I have a '99 Isuzu Trooper too with a similar color that needs a large patch. Those Troopers were also GM, even though they are Japanese. That missing peice ain't worth $500.00 to me to get the car recovered; unless I was rich ;) which I'm not:(. Besides, it's my son's car, and he'll probably end up wrecking it :th_nervous:

Ah, the top part that touches your butt is leather :th_winking: (fine Corinthian leather?) Makes the car go faster, eh? :th_wtf: This GTP is fast enough! :th_eyepopping:
