I bought 4 new tires and 4 new rims "aftermarket" in April of 2010 had a LITTLE vibration so i took it to walmart "where i got the tires" bought the lifetime balance rotation with them and had them balanced and rotated while i was shopping. Went to pick it up and they said ALL FOUR rims are bent.......i said uhhh ok blew them off left and got on the interstate and it was shaking pretty good so i called them and long story short they said all they could do is try it again. I guess what I'm asking is what could have happened?? The only thing i can think of is they balanced them with the eccentrics still on the wheels....

No i do not see a bend in them at all Ive never hit anything nor do i run over speed bumps regularly, not to mention it wasn't doing this before i took it in there. I got the rims at Discount Tire and i think they did the balance you are referring to...they put pressure on the bottom of the tire i believe.

They don't balance a rim alone, they balance a rim and tire, so if you purchased the rims from discount tire then bought tires at walmart... they would mount and balance the wheel/tire then. Either way if it wasn't there before go to a reputable shop that has a Hunter road force balancer. Shouldn't cost more than $60 for all 4 wheels, maybe even cheaper.

I see your problem...

Seriously, Walmart techs are notorious all over for being a bunch of retards. They don't get paid enough to actually be good at their jobs.

That was my thought also but i used to balance tires at a shop and its really not difficult so i gave them the benefit of the doubt....not something i will do again! Thanks for the input!
