The left looks pretty good. I don't really like how you didn't do the reflector.

i dident want to have mine look like everyone and there moms grand prix. I thought it would make mine stand out and yes police were a factor. They LOOOOVE to pull any one over with even window tint i just want to avoid the hassle

when i had an eclipse and a ranger i tinted the tails by going to my local rc shop. they have a "window tint" for lexan bodies by parma. its 4.95 a can and it does enough to do several lights. i used one can and did 6 lights 4-5 coats each.

I'd watch using this stuff in Ontario, Canada. Its illegal to have tinted taillights and marker lights. I work for the RCMP in Ottawa so I get answers anytime I need em

I read somewhere that you can buy VHT Nightshade to tint your tails. I have moisture in the drivers side and I want to tint instead of replace. I need to know where to get it. I thought someone said you can get it at Autozone, looked but didn't find it. I really don't want to buy it online, a store or paint supplier would be better for me. I am located in southern Indiana.

some one also posted the part number and autozone told me it was unable to be ordered anymore

Ok. I tinted mine on my own. Anyone know how to get the flat look out of them. I didn't go very dark, so is there not enough to cover the sanded surface making it look dull? I already put clear coat on, can I just wet sand it and put more VHT on it? Tomorrow is my last day off, so any help would be appreciated!:th_bangheadonwall:

2000 grit wet sand it and then get some buffing compound and see how it looks after that. how many coats of clear did you put on it?
