This may or may not be able to be answered and the question itself may sound stupid but I have some things im working on and if done right I might have a cool mod.
Can anyone tell me if the Speedo PPM can be adjusted at the speedo and not the PCM? Im not talking about plugging in a programmer and adjusting for tire size or anything like that. Im talking about isolating the speedo cluster and reprograming it to move the needle slower without affecting the HUD or the ABS system.
On some cars im told that the speedo is inline with the rest of the system and if you change one then you change all.
So in a nutshell. Can the cluster itself be reprogrammed without affecting the rest of the car and can it be reprogrammed to slow the needle a bit? I have a pair of Instrument clusters that I want to experiment on.
