Very Bad Coolant Leak, Huge puddles

I think it is coolant cause the color if the huge puddles is yellowish, it started just on Thursday i think when my bro noticed the huge puddle. When i looked at it when i came back i saw it dripping like no other underneath the car, These pst few days it has made 2 more huge puddles including just another today. we had toped off some coolant in there twice and the coolant level stayed steady, but when i go check later on tonight i know the coolant is going to be almost empty in the reservoir this time. We just got the Coolant elbows and this one whole metal thing with a pulley on it replace just last month. We know the transmission and power steering fluid is leaking slowly but this coolant just freakin beat it by a land slide. What the hell is wrong with the coolant not and where could it be leaking from? All we are doing is waiting to get money so we can have all the leaks fixed which is going to be: The power steering which is the Rack and Pinion, Transmission leak which is this little line that maybe leaking from there. What do you guys think the leak is coming from and how much will it be to fix and what can we do ourselfs? like the Transmission line thingy seems easy and they say the part costs like 20-30$. BTW the car is at 129k miles.

LIM gaskets?
Where exactly is it leaking from?
Which side? Can you see it from looking on the top of the engine?

If you look at the GP (2007 car) from the front if it looking at it, it leaks from the left side where the coolant reservoir and stuff is at. Underneath i see it looks like its around that area and must be dripping from two places very closly to eachother

I'm having the exact same issue. I know for me it's coming out of the uim on the corner right behind the alternator. I thought it was the coolant elbows but after searching more I saw it leaking from there. So it could be the same for you

Might also want to give your heater hoses the once over as well. If they have a small leak in them it will show up after you shut the car off when the pressure comes up a bit. It could be spraying it in the direction of the tensioner assembly (that "whole metal thing with a pulley on it") and dripping down.

Dont know much but what is the UIM? Also which one is the heater hose, lol again dont know much on this.

The UIM is that big chunk of aluminum that bolts to the heads and has the air tube and throttle body bolted to it.

The heater hoses are the two 5/8" or 3/4" hoses located at the back of the motor that disappear into the firewall. They should lead from the tensioner to the heater core (where the firewall is).

You should check the:

Water Pump
The area where the UIM and LIM meet. Easy way to tell is if it looks wet.
The coolant elbows
The radiator and all of the hoses

It's tough for a UIM/LIM to leak enough to see dripping like is being mentioned.

I'd follow all the Guz's suggestions and you'll find it.

Thanks for you guys advice, we will take the car in and have it checked, what do you guys think the price range should be to fix the leaks? (PS-Rack and Pinion, Coolant, Oil gasket)

the rack you will be looking 500 or more for a shop to do it. rack can be done in 4 hours if your up to it, its not all that hard. new one is like 175 to 200 in hand iirc

the pan, i'd check your valve cover gaskets out, i had oil dripping off both sides of my trans pan and down to the oil pan and made a mess all over. oil pan gasket at a shop will hurt as well, new valve cover gaskets are about $50. take about a hour or less to do yourself.

i would de grease the whole engine, maybe even get under it and clean the pan and as much of the block as you can with brake cleaner and rags, then drive it a day or 2 and get back under it and see if you can find a trail of oil.

the coolant could also be the water pump leaking, or the elbows not seated right. bad rad hose, heater hose. or the lim is bad and your engine is eating coolant. lim job will be another raping at a shop. do it yourself for the cost of new gaskets.....lots of write ups with pics here.

once you get the engine nice and clean leaks are a lot easier to see/find/fix.

Thank you to all you guys for the help, found out it was the water pump gasket and got it fixed along with a very bad wheel bearing too. They also found a pin hole in the engine block or some where in there that the coolant leaks a tiny bit from. That we will fix later on and the guys said its ok for now it should only leak a little every once in a while. We will mointer everything from month to month to keep things good. Again thanks all you guys for all the info.
