Very annoying squeak

I have a 99 Grand Prix GT 3.8L N/A. The car has been stock since I bought it in 99. I am having a very annoying and frustrating problem. When the car turns really sharp there is a squeak on the side it turns. When you are moving straight the car also makes a squeak (the squeak is like... squeak squeak squeak not a constant screech). When you turn sharp sometimes it changes the side it squeaks on.

I put the car up on a lift and tried turning the wheel while it was in the air and nothing. We replaced both wheel bearings, tie rod ends, ball joints, cv axels, calipers and pads, and the sway bar that had snapped from rust. All of that needed done regardless of the squeak and it rides much better but there is still the annoying squeak. I'm at a loss and really need some help with this issue.

whens the last time you change the serpentine belt?

it sounds like the your power steering is letting you know the belt is shot.

I'd start with the mention above to the belt.

Then if that checks out maybe check the front struts. It could be worn out strut mounts. Open the hood and take a look at where the top nut is on the strut. Now, push down on the fender and get the car to bounce up and down a bit. Is that big rubber bushing pushing upwards? If so, that may cause it too.

Stock struts on a 99 are junk by now and need to be changed, along w/ the strut mount and springs.

Actually it was the metal clip holding in the pads on the brakes, they extended out too far and when you turned it scraped the inside of the calipers. Never really noticed for some reason :th_laugh-lol2: . I'm retarded thanks guys!
