The fan will not shut off on my 2001 Grand Prix GT 3.1. When I say fan, I mean the vents in the vehicle. I can switch it to all the different placements (floor, dash vents, defrost, etc.), I can turn the AC on and off, but the fan will always blow on high and it wil not shut off even when I turn the car off. I have to unhook the battery to get it to shut off or leave the car running as not to run down the battery. I am very confused. Any ideas? Some additional info: I just returned from a deployment and my car had been sitting for about 6 months since the last time it was driven. I replaced the battery last week and drove it a couple times. Later the same day that I replaced the battery was when I began having the issue with the vents.
