This snout cooler doesn't pump oil into the blower.
They created pockets on the outside of the blower snout by adding a couple of plates of metal on the outside of the snout so that you can run coolant through them.
I don't know why the mods have not said it yet but.....What is the point of coming over to this forum to argue about nonsense?
I think this thread should be locked until one of those guys has the snout in their hands or tested or both. Otherwise this thread has become as worthless as the product it is promoting.
Let's get back to how the snake oil cooler will benefit this demographic, the m90 crowd.
It doesn't, so that's why it keeps going off topic to a crowd that it may benefit.
This has been very interesting reading 11 pages are people trashing a product that they "think" they know all about how it works. The people bashing on how any type of Eaton blower works need to learn. Your talking trash on the shop that also happens to be Eaton Authorized. If you know anything about engines, you should know that anytime you can get something cooler the better. Why run an engine at 195* when I can run at 160* and keep all the seals cooler and prevent them from wearing out and leaking because of excessive heat. The Venom Cooler wasn't designed for maximum horsepower gains, it was to help cool a critical part of the blower. The fact is your spinning the M90 at over 20,000+ RPM and gears spinning create heat, so being able to cool such a critical component is a benefit. Sorry some of you have such small minds that you can't think of out of the box ways to improve a sweet engine setup.
Lol, no.

So you want your engine to run as hot as possible, that makes a lot of sense there.
Show me proof of one running too cold.
