Vacuum hose

I had to instal a pushlock splice on the vacuum hose that runs of the engine down through by the washer reservoir and batt last year. It controls the vent controls inside the dash. I lost my controls again this week and checked that vacuum hose and it has a leak. Instead of tracing the leak and splicing in a unioun i want to replace it. Anyone know the tech name for that vacuum hose? I know it has been a problem for many owners becaus ef breakage so i want to replace it.
