I also wanted to do this, but being a nooB I have no idea which line this actually is. Is there a pic of the brake booster area and could someone please post where exactly I should take this hose off at. How does this work? Do you have the car running, take off the hose and just let it suck it out of the can or a different container while it is running? Is there a way to suck it in and let it soak for a while? What exactly is the proper procedure to do this? Thanks........I am a PITA, I knowPeople Seafoam these engines all the time. It works fine. You want to use the brake booster vacuum line. Just use a pulling twisting motion to pull it off the brake booster and start pouring it in.
already done as far as the gas tank goes:th_winking:. If I do it in the oil, how long should I leave it in there? Will it hurt to keep it in the oil for several hundred miles?Your not a PITA.
The brake booster is that big black round metal thing that sits right in front of you in the engine compartment. There is only one vacume line comming off of that. And it's the biggest one in the engine bay. Pull it off from the brake booster side which means it will still be connected to the lower intake manifold. Start the car and pour a little at a time down the line while the car is running. There will be lost of smoke. Follow the directions on how much to add. You can also add it to your gas tank.
Hope that helps
