Used car problems.... Help

I bought a 99 Grand Prix for my first car about two months ago. Now that i have been driving it for awhile i have noticed some things that are not working right or not sounding right. First, the automatic transmission will shift 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gears flawlessly but when it goes to shift into OD it whines until it shutters into gear. Second, when the gas needle gets down to about a quarter of a tank it will float. The needle will move from quarter of a tank to up to a half and back down till eventually it reads a full tank. I have been using the gallons used on the DIC which i don't know how accurate it is. When the climate control kicks the fan on it has a really annoying clicking sound. it will do it at all speeds but will stop when i turn a corner and brake. I am also trying to find a new sunshade for my sunroof because the one that i have is broken..
Thanks in advanced.

Transmission shutter into gear could be pressure solenoid. Get it to a shop and get it scanned. If it is the solenoid it should throw a transmission code. The gas needle problem has to do with the fuel level sender on the fuel pump assembly in the trunk or a loose or pinched wire. You can just reset your trip computer at each fill-up and fill it at a certain mileage like I do if you don't want to replace the sender.

Yep, my car has the same problem about the gas needle, once it gets to 1/4, it goes back up until it reads full again but I'm not too worried about that, since I can go 300 miles safe with 1/4 of tank, I always put gas around 280/300 miles to be on the safe side :)
