upper gaskets/head

just bought a 2001 GTP in need of head gaskets i presume, whats the prefered brand that has the best luck,any thing else that should /could be done while were in the motor?........thanks:th_scratchhead::th_thumb-up: Sorry for not leaving symptoms,[1] on/off skip,[2] sweet smell of antifreeze from exhaust [sometimes] looks like inside glass has that always dirty or film on it even after washing it[windshield],low coolant light on in dash, with a squeezed motor it was just a guess for a head gasket from other i've owned.....any help much appreciated...........thanks

Very unlikely its the head gasket, they rarely go. More than likely the LIM gasket. What makes you think its the head gasket?

It likely doesn't need hg it needs lower intake manifold gaskets.

Might be best to post the symptoms and we can maybe save you a lot of work.

If you go for the heads though. Most use FelPro or Victor R gaskets, if you want an easier install, get ARP head studs.
