Upper Control Arm Bushing

is this bushing trashed because i get a clunk when going up curbs and speedbumps

it is the upper control arm bushing closest to the front of the car...is this replaceable or do i need a new control arm? if not do i need a press?

Need a press, also check the tightness of that bolt. If its tight its most likely the bushing going bad.

can you rent a press from auto parts stores?

No, machine shops or suspension shops have those. If you take to arm off and bring it to a shop that has one. I'm sure they would press out the old and press in the new for a small fee if not free.

just get new oem control arms from rockauto, brand new bushings and everything, they don't have them under Grand Prix but, the impala ones are the same, not too hard on the wallet either.
