• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

I am looking at getting an Intake and this pcm (PCM for Grand Prix GTP v1.0: 3800 Performance)

How much of a performance gain will I get from these two things? How tough of an install is the PCM? I really haven't seen anything else for a PCM other then this one. Is there anything better out there?

Thanks for the help.

The intake will give a few HP. The PCM doesn't really give HP as making it more accessible with better shift points, less restrictive torque management, and some better timing.

Not too bad.

Most vendors offer them. ZZP, WBS, 3800Perf, the old DHP, and a vendor here WillOverKill from Overkill Motorsports.

I'd say go with the Overkill. ;)

All pcms are generic tunes. If you search around, you'll find that many have problem areas here and there in their specific files they use. I'd check and see with owners of a specific of the pcm you're planning to get and see what they think.

Also, I've heard a lot of good things about Will. I believe he will even help custom tailor the pcm based on scans.

i say go with will from overkill . he will take care of you and you can send it back later as needed for more tuning . will also has a fender wall intake if he still has any left . check him out in the vendor section .
