• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

I climbed Mt. Washington with the GP the other day...

At one point I had to pull over because she started getting a little hot...creeping up the mountain in 1st.

Midway up...

Way too foggy to get any good pics.

Climbed the mountain like a champ though... and went down pretty well, too. Held a good speed in 1st gear and didn't scream out like some other cars that we're struggling to hold a slow speed in 1st on the way down.

crap i can't imagin screaming down that mountain with no guard rails. But anyways looks like you had fun.

God no. If I had put the e-brake on lightly it would have caught fire! You should have seen a little civic going down in front of me. The thing was SCREAMING down... sounded like a chainsaw. I saw his brake lights almost the whole time and you could smell something. I am almost certain it was his brakes I was smelling, as I had stopped a few times to let mine cool

Yeah... that was pretty scary. A lot of the road was washed out too.... $27.00 bucks to just go use the road though! 20 for the car and driver, and 7 for each additional passenger!

Looks like a good trip though. Would have been nice if there wasn't any fog. NIce pictures though. Thanks for sharing.

It is absolutely worth going up if you ever come out this way. It is about 1.5 hours from me, but with labor day traffic... took almost 2.5 to get there. As for the mountain road - that wasn't busy at all.

The thing that made me laugh.... at the top... they have chains that hold down the buildings. It's not really a big mountain but apparently they have the most severe weather ever recorded up there.
