i was wondering if there are any write ups on how to uninstall the sc and lim and then reinstall them with new gaskets

yea ill take pics during the install and let you guys know how it goes (hopfully smoothly) first big upgrade to the gtp. That was a pretty straight forward 33min of vid. im gonna also replace my alternator backet (gone to hell)

It's pretty simple, actually. The only trick is draining the coolant to minimize getting any into the crankcase. Get you a couple quarts of cheap oil, and pour over the lifter valley before you install the LIM.

yea i watched him just dump oil all over his lifter (he did new ones) what wuld be the easiest way of draining collant? (im prolly gonna drain all fuilds first)

Drain it through the little valve on the lower driver side of the radiator.....and then you can also remove the front knock sensor because it threads into the coolant passage.

I have a detailed write up at NAIOA, but you have to register to see and it's on the L36 engine (though L67 would be very similar).
