The best part was the girl fight...the rest was a complete waste of time...i have been waiting on kimbo vs shamrock for 3 weeks now and they dot even fight.....THAT WAS GAY. :th_depressed:

First off, not a UFC fight.

Secondly, I did not see the fight but Kimbo is overrated in my book. He is a good street fighter but is not technical at all. Ken Shamrock is an old dude but he is still solid.
 


Kimbo is a boxer, and smokes a lot... he has low lung capacity and can't go the duration of the match... he is overrated

Gina Carano is amazing, and a great fighter.

Urijah Faber from WEC FTW!!! His only loss was to Tyson Griffin.. if he fought Griffin now he'd blow him away!
 
Those were not UFC fights. And since they are on regular network TV, they don't let the fighters go very long at all. One sight of blood and they call the fight. A regular UFC fight will go until someone taps out, their life is in danger (not a little blood), or they KO.

Those fights are just dumb...

I've seen plenty of bloody matches on TV, but it is all regulated to call the fight if the blood can't be controlled. It's to prevent the spread of infections, like HIV. The WEC, UFC, etc. matches I've seen would pause the match, let the trainers attend to the cut until it clots. If it busts open again, they pause it again unless the severity of it is too much.

Too bad he's such a d-bag. Personality goes a long way. Sure, it doesn't win matches, but I just can't get behind the guy. I can't wait for someone to put the beatdown on him.

Enlighten me... I like him because he has been one of the more classy guys in the sport... maybe I'm missing something about him?

The only time I've seen him talk trash is those stupid pre-fight trash talk videos they play before the match in which they are told to do that.

I don't know, maybe the prefight stuff is all I've seen, but everytime I've watched him he's talking trash about someone or something. That's all.

yea man, they all do that and it's in their contracts to "hype" it up. Just disregard anything the fighters say in those pre-fight videos,haha. Although there are some people that don't like each other, majority of the fighters tend to be respectful of each other. Faber is one of the classiest guys in the sport.

I didn't even read that when I posted. I still stick by that Kimbo Slice is way overrated. He is a street fighter, not a MMA fighter. I am looking forward to Lesnar V. Couture. Lesnar is kind of a hometown boy for me and he was a good college wrestler.
