So im driving today n look over n see some ghetto a$$ old car with some niiiiceeeeee 20s on it that prolly cost MORE than the f*cking car! That really drives me insane...why would u try to make a piece look better by adding expensive rims??? Sorry had to vent..maybe someone else thinks the same??
 


first off, youre thinking about it wrong because you have no idea what its like in the hood.

the rims ARE the part that matter. the car could be literally on fire, but if its got 26s on it then that guy is a baller.

this. in the hood you can tell who you should and shouldnt screw with just but looking at their car. big rims means big money which means he knows people so step off. its a respect thing where im from...
 


^ The sad thing is that besides the monster truck wheels, that is actually a really nice GP. Dump the wheels, put that $$ in the engine there ya go, some REAL respect.

To some people in Detroit, this is their dream car:

24"+ rims
In dash head unit
Mufflers

That is a perfect car to some people in Detroit. Maybe even two tone.. Doesn't matter what car it is... have these items and your considered a boss in Detroit and a dam fool in my eyes.
 
Um obviously u took what i said wrong just cuz i refered to the car as "ghetto" does not mean their from the "hood" and just cuz u got nice rims DONT mean u got money... maybe around u but thats not how it is over here. Plus thats stupid as **** to waste money on rims when ur driving around a beater. I would rather have a nicer reliable car.

its cool, just be glad that you live in a place where you can walk in the the streets after sundown and not worry for your life, not the same story for all of us...
 
I really have thought about buying some 1980's caprices and throwing 26" rims on them and selling them in my town. They would be selling like hot cakes. Anyone want to jack me some rims.
 
lol that sucks. So off the subject would u happen to know how to turn off the automatic headlights on an 06 grand prix?? i dont have an owners manual! prolly should get one of those huh
 


there should be a fuse, in the 97-03's its a fuse for automatic headlights and DRL in one, but there is a plug in the dash on the drivers side that you just unplug for the DRLs to not work, but im not sure if its the same for your year
 
Thank you i will try to look later. Just put in my HIDs n couldnt figure out how to turn them off. And now my HIDs flicker n the left one comes on flickers then goes out my right one flickers then stays light perfectly...just ordered a relay harness hopefully that does the trick...do u have HIDs?
 
i used to, then i got projectors, BUT i have the new HIDs on the way from ddm tuning, where are yours from?
