A couple of changes-
Tee'd the vacuum line by coolant bottle to the LIM.
Removed the line from the top of the wastegate and allowed to vent to air.
Figured out the bottom of wastegate supposed to go to boost controller.
Gave BOV its own vacuum source to throttle body.

Changed the oil and decided to use Max Life 10w-40. Replaced the fuel filter as well.
Finally broke down and picked up a scanner.
I'll probably install the rockers tomorrow and possibly the tranny cooler. L36 turbo intake manifold setup with AFC and TB should be here in a few days.

Modifed 1.9 rockers are installed.
First thing was to remove the battery and coil packs. The dog bone mount attached to the engine hang over the valve cover.
Valve cover was fairly dirty:
After some light scrubbing:
Pedestal in place:
1.9's getting some lube:
Installed:
When I got to the rear There was a bolt under the upper down pipe. To get to it I had to pry it then finagle the rachet. Ended up being a PITA. Finally I had to disconnect the wastegate from the upper down pipe. This allowed enough movement to pull the valve cover.
Finally back to the rockers:
Valve cover was more dirty than the front. Got it cleaned up and reinstalled:

Installed the AFC and started playing with it:
Have the battery disconnected to reset the LTFT. Just messing with standard mode right now. Once I get comfortable with that I'll move to enhanced.
Also noticed some nasty knock so I have dropped boost down some.

Hi Doug thanks for asking and reading my build thread. Yes a small one:
Since my wheels have been discontinued I have had a difficult time sourcing center caps. Even if I could I imagine it would cost a decent amount.So I decided to opt for the $4.50 way.
Centercap decals arrived today:
Couldn't get a good picture but they are actually alot brighter than that.
6's are white and the oultlines are silver. I'm very pleased with them.

WOT runs are a blast in the car When it was S/C i had a blast hearig the whine, but there is just something about hearing the turbo spool and BOV that tickles my fancy. The AFC is a 2.0. Haven't played around with it too much. I'll be getting a tune in the next month or so. Over spring break most likely after I install the ported LIM, L36 upper, HVIII, and ported TB. I'm in hopes it will wake up the car and I'll hit my goal of 350ish hp. Have a feeling the tuner will tell me I'm running out of a fuel and need some bigger injectors. LOL
Once I hit 350whp I'll call it quits as far as performance, and begin focusing on cosmetics. Next year I'll most likely upgrade to a HX-66 and look at doing a STX cam. I want to focus on getting the car ready for the Pontiac Southern Nationals in June as well as the Tiger Prowl show in Sept.
Here's a low resolution of the display sign I had made:
