Turn Signal Switch Fitment Issue

I have an issue with my 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix GXP 5.3L V8 with a turn signal switch fitment issue. One of the wire connectors don't match up. I can't seem to find the right one I need. I need a turn signal switch assemblythat has a green connector. GM and other sorces indicates it is discontinued. The P/N needed is 15237470. The Barcode number on the original switch is 26121225.

Best bet is to search car-parts.com. That switch is specific to the GXP with TapShift and there is no aftermarket switch avail. that I know of. You may be able to cobble together a new switch using the old one as parts.

I'm glad to hear that. I'm going to share what you said with my wife. She don't want me to cannibalize the original switch, but I keep telling her I'm going to have no choice. I figure I was going to have to do that. What other choice do I have? I'll let you know How I make out both with my wife and with the switch. Thanks for your input. I appreciate it.
