Turbo Regal vs Turbo LSx Trans AM



EVERY post I have made I have clearly stated I want a BET on the race.
Not once did you say that you don't race for money. You continued to run your mouth.
We had set a date that we mutually agree to and everything is cool...

Then you try to pull a date out of your hat with a time and place....I agree anyways to come to you regardless of your change of heart...and all of a sudden there is an in-depth analysis of why you wont race?

Nobody is trying to punk you.

I have nothing to prove. You are the big bad regal that beats up on 700hp cars.

If you want to race "For Fun" to see how you do .... then lets both go to Lebanon one weekend and I will gladly pay your admission/ tech fee.
 
I'm actually going to side with snowflake on this one. The one who wanted the race is the one that drives out, shouldn't the race be reward enough? I guess I don't understand why money needs to change hands.

Next potential opponent joins the forums and then it's not just flake talking sh*t anymore, Now it's I don't race for money it's just a poor old fwd regal that's supposedly beat a 700hp trans am. You mad bro.. Seems like your all happy go lucky until the other guy is able to speak for himself.

Because dude thinks he's gonna punk some moron in a car he thinks is fast.
What he doesn't realize is I know exactly who he is, exactly who his friend is, and exactly how fast their cars are.
It's a small world.

This car thing is a hobby of mine.
My only serious competition is the FWD Regal record.
Anything else is just for fun.

Now the flake haters will come out of the woodwork and say I'm backing down.
They don't realize how things work.
He wants to race me.

Here I am... come race me.

I honestly don't think you are a moron, and I think your car is very fast for the combination.

Bill sent me the link to you racing the GN and asked me how I thought my new combo would fair against your chassis. I told him my honest opinion, and that is where his post came from, because Bill knows that I dont mind running my cars either. I'm not Bill, and I have no control over how he words his posts. BUT...when I did come on this board, I was very clear what I wanted to see from the get-go and there was no opposition on your part until now. I felt that I was very accomadating to all your requests.

Regardless, I think what you've done with the chassis is great, but I dont like all the bull **** remarks about it being a race car, "shop built" big turbo blah blah blah blah blah.

So heres my offer...

I will pay for your day at Lebanon Valley.
I don't care if you want to line up with me or not while your there....but do yourself a favor for the day... put all the roll racing aside and let the numbers do the talking. Take a stab at that FWD Regal record if you want or run me for fun.

I am a pretty humble person, and I take a lot of pride in the hobby myself. You want to do it for "fun" heres your chance.

Because we can all read it differently if we'd like.

It could mean:
-I have been complimenting you in your thread, your car is fast and I know a couple of guys that would like to see how they do against your car.
Doesn't mean money is automatically involved or not.
- I think your car is fast and I know a couple guys that would be willing to see how they do against your car.
Again.. this may mean I have respect for what you've done with the car and I know a couple guys that would like to see how they do against your car.

This isn't about punking anyone, (didn't that word go out of the language a few years back?) Brandon is easy to find on FB. The car is well known around the area and when chatting with another friend who doesn't know him directly... that person said "I saw that car at Mark's car show Monday".

Any idea what the Monte Carlo record is?
 
Can't find anything on Monte's, fastest one on the CGP list is 11.7... maybe Bill would know more.
There was a ZZP shop car Impala that ran 10.01, but was a gutted setup with wheelie bars.

I'm trying to break this record in a full weight Regal with a full exhaust that's as quiet as stock.
I know I have the power to do it, easily. It's just the first 330 or so feet that I'm worried about.
 
There was an old Novi 3800 Monte that ZZP did for a girl back in the early '00's that went 11.20's.

Not sure specifically at your track but it was a high comp, custom cam car that was full weight as well if I remember right, was white as well.
 


The fwd turbo wbody record is 10.0 at 141. Regal/gp/impala it doesnt matter. You can put impala fenders and a bumper on your car and run 9s and beat the "impala" record if you want to be offical about it.

Impala wasnt that gutted... had everything but a back seat and a spare tire well any other car would have... had a full cage too

you are a ***** for not wanting to race for money after bragging up how bad ass your 120mph regal is.
 
I feel the same. I read countless threads about the almighty Regal and let's not for the sleepers video and someone calls you out for a race for money and you back out?

Its funny because my pos fiero makes 200+ more whp than this joker does and weighs 1000lbs less with great aero, yet I dont say anything or post "kill vids" because im slow as hell compared to most cars out there. Roll racing slow cars is pretty fun dont get me wrong my 400whp honda is a riot. .. but im not posting videos like im some hero.
 
I don't really care what a ZZP shop car did.
The FWD Regal record is 10.855 and that's the only competition I have :)

As for posting videos.
People seem to like them, and I sure as hell like partaking in their production.
So I'll continue to be a hero in my slow 120mph sled.
