The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.
when I hook up the oil lines to my oil level sensor and oil sending unit, will the universal oil line kits on ebay work, or will I need adapters for the different threads and/or sizes?
yes but id suggest against it, ive never been happy with ebay critical components. even in the picture you can see flaws in the outer braid.
that and saving $ never really saves you $ is damn near a law stronger than gravity.
keep in mind that if that line fails your buying a new turbo and engine.
we are using a pre crimped 48" or 52 ish inch premade aeroquip or earls line, one end with the 90* -4 AN end and the other a straight -4an.
actually it may be 60"...dunno. believe it or not, if you have a mig welder, mig wire is actually pretty good at helping you figure you a graceful line path and length since teflon line has a curve memory like mig wire
then you use a 1/4" npt to -4 fitting (straight or 90, dep on fitment) at the filter neck....i finally decided not to chance it and i just deleted the oem OP switch on the TR, i wont be getting rid of our T though as i plan on running an AEM unit at some point.
at the turbo we have the straight end with a 90* 1/8th npt to -4 fitting threaded into our 1/8" m/f npt restrictor.
