I got a turbo off a 95 6.5 deisel and what to know if it would work on my gtp? I got the turbo free and is in great shape. I don't know the specs and don't rely say anything on the turbo.
 


it will work with the right fabrication. The roadkill show (from motortrend) put a powerstroke turbo on a chevy v6 that was swapped into a 280zx. Look up "the rotsun" on youtube
 
I personally wouldn't mess with that turbo. Yeah, it'll work, but it's pretty small, and IMO, not worth the work to turbo a car. I'd sell it to someone looking to turbo their 6.2 and put the money towards a better turbo.
 
Ok I'll look that up and that's a small turbo? I found a article that they used it on a Lexus 3.0 v6 and it didn't spool till 3800 rpm and that was just pushing 5 psi
 
those diesel turbos are smallish to medium compressors with big turbine sides not real effective on high reving(higher then a diesel anyway) smaller displacement engines. as stated...it will work but wont be optimum by any means.
 
Ok gotcha now. Ok I found one about the same as a pt61. They both have a 70ar. Comp but the pt has a 68ar. Turbine and one I can get has a 50ar. Turbine
