Tuning the PCM in a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix GT

I have an 06 Grand Prix GT and I would like to buy a tuned PCM for the car. I have read that for a 2006 model I would need to get a PCM from a 2004 model in order for this to work properly. Is this true or can I buy a tuned PCM from another 06 and install it? I don't have a tuner so I have no choice but to buy a pre tuned PCM. Thanks.
 


I'm sure I've answered in the chat box before but you need to use either tune the computer in your car or buy a tuned computer that is still for a 2006-2007.

If you used a 2004-2005 computer the gas gauge would read backwards as far as I know. The only person that sells tunes for the 06-07 is OverKill. The only software that works on them in HP Tuners.
