Tuning on e85 using dhp power tuner

Hey guys ive read the defacto guide to tuning on e85 and a lot of other threads but most of them talk about tuning for e85 using hp tuners abd i have dhp so hopefully someone can help me with which tables im having to change. I understand the basics that i have to put in my new injector size which i believe they already have a table made for 42.5# injectors that i just have to import and then i need to bump up my fueling by apporximately 30% but im not sure what table or tables im using to achieve this.

its just your injector file that should need to be changed. thats where the extra fuel is coming from.

iirc, you add 30% to the injector file for the size you have. as the setting are for gas in dhp import folder.

yup. this is my 42 lb injector file for my car, its on gas, but you see the change there. and the folder.

So since im upgrading to 42s to run e85 i would take your table on the left and then decrease it by 30%. Right?

you would pretty much end up at stock for 42's. you need larger then 42's. 42's work if you like stock and just install them for e85 swap.

being im sure you want to drop pulleys, you'll be maxed out right away on 42's. your best to get 60's.

Well i already got some 42s but i dont plan going past a 3.5 which from what ive read on here should be more then doable on 42s

I'm not running E85, I'm only at E40, but my injector duty cycle is at 65%. I'm on a 3.2" pulley. I think 42's will max out at some point, sooner than later, but they have some headroom for ethanol.

40thanngtp02 maxed out 42's on corn instantly on a 3.2 iirc. it ran ok had no kr, but was up to 26,000 ipw at 4000 rpm lol thats maxed the f out big time. my 42's on gas the ipw is only 15,000 wot at 6000 rpm.

maybe mine are magical and flow more fuel. or maybe they have more headroom because the elevation here is 7000 feet, so less fuel get's injected because there is less air. like I said earlier, I'm on a 3.2" pulley with E40, and I'm at 65% duty cycle. we will see what happens if/when I bump the ethanol up to E85.

Ya either way im just planning on sticking with a 3.5 considering how ****ty this higher compression is i doubt id be able to run a 3.4 unless i pulled timing

U think i could go from 2* of kr on a stock pulley with 16* timing to a 3.2 on 16* with just corn lol?

i sure as sh-it do. e85 has much more octane.

take one degree out and you'll be kr free too. top swaps like one less degree wot then stock, and no kr feels better then 2 degrees does.

Well we shall see ill feel really stupid for spending 40$ on a 3.5 pulley if i can pulley down way past that lol

Well i would agree but i dont sell anything on here because i dont have a bank account or a credit card which means people cant send me money which means i can never sell anything i buy lol

every time I've ever sold a pulley, I have ended up regretting it. having the pulley on hand for those "just in case" situations really is a good thing, and you never know what is going to happen. I have a 3.4 pulley that I haven't used in 6 months, but based on my previous experience, I am keeping it because I can't predict the future well enough to know that I will not ever use it again. I've had a 2.9 pulley and a 2.8 on my car before that I sold, and at some point in the future, I may be able to run them again.

I'm running a 3.6 right now, 3.4 and 3.3 sitting in the drawer waiting for me to tune. I'm not running e85 though.
