Tuner Changes for TCC Lock/Unlock Issue

My tranny (131k) on my GTP is doing the TCC Lock/Unlock issue.

Are there any changes I can make with my Powrtuner until I get a replacement?

you could probably disable the tcc engagement, im not sure though just a possibility if it has that option or not.

Is it locking and unlocking or are the rpms surging up and down with a slight load on the engine? If the rpms are surging up and down a few hundred rpms then you can try upping the minimum TCC apply table about 5-10% across the board and see if that helps.

Thanks Dave, I'll give that a shot. It appears to do this more on an incline than on flat ground.

EDIT:I see the table, but my values in TCC_apply_2nd_Normal, TCC_Apply_2nd_Perf, is all at the max 255. However TCC_Apply_2nd_Hot is not maxed out.. I notice it on the 1-2 shift going uphill... Should I change the HOT values?

You shouldnt have to worry about the hot tables as I believe the pcm doesn enable HOT mode until you hit the 235-250 deg F range for trans temps. I havent seen this parameter to be adjustable yet with any of the tuners but it should be in that ballpark. Are the tables you are showing just MPH tables or apply% tables? I am not very familiar with the powertuner as I use HPT and they have specific minimum and maximum TCC apply duty cycle charts and that is what you need to adjust is the minimum apply duty cycle to help raise the apply pressure a bit to help overcome your problem.

My tables just show MPH :( ... I dont know anyone in the area with HPTuners... but thats for the info Dave!
