I do and I have the tool to do it. Too bad you aren't closer. Is the car driveable? I'm off tomorrow (Monday) if you can make it down here and need a hand. Call me.
If thats not an option, Kent should know how to do it since he's swapped trannys before.
If all else fails you can do it yourself easy enough, i'd be more than happy to walk you through it over the phone. BTW, You can rent the CV tool, slide hammer, and CV sockets from Autozone so you'll have everything to do the job. Again, call me if you want to go this route...

Myself and JEFFSGTP would head up that way to lend some destructive criticism if Shawn didn't care. Seeing as we have to travel to a Land Rover dealer somewhere this weekend anyways to get my key fob programmed. However I think we're actually going down to DFW instead since I got a request to attend a overland gathering Saturday in that area as well.
Not sure though, might decide to skip the overland gathering and avoid all the DFW bullsh*t and head to the OKC dealer anyways.

Or do it the simple way and jack only that side of the car up to prevent more than a drop or two of tranny fluid coming out from being on the end of the CV itself, with can be removed with a small pry bar, or even a large screwdriver. Which ever you prefer.

Yeah, I wouldn't drain the tranny fluid, you won't loose that much probably not enough to even show up on your dipstick in my experiance. I'd get a pan under there though to catch what little comes out.
The tools you need from autozone are as follows...
FWD Axle puller Adapt. = 27058
Slide Hammer = 27033
All it is is an attachment and a slide hammer. You put the attachment behins the cv joint on the tranny side and wack it out with the slide hammer.
Which side are you doing? If its the drivers side, once you break it free pull it out slowly, IF YOU SEE THE OUTPUT SHAFT ATTACHED TO THE CV JOINT, REINSTALL IT IMMEDIATLY, DO NO PULL IT OUT, TRANSMISSION DAMAGE WILL OCCUR!!! The passenger side you have nothing to worry about. Before installing the new shafts, put some tranny fluid on the shaft end that will go into the tranny and on the seal on the side of the tranny. This will help prevent any seal damage and future leakage issues there.

Well I first tried with the pry bars that was a pita so but down $60 to get the slide hammer and plate. Took less then 2 min and it was out. There was no grease in it wait so ever in the outer joint.
Got rid of my popping when turning the car in any direction. But i still have a bad vibration. Next i am going to look at the hub i installed not to long ago. Could be bad but in 2 weeks???? Come to think of it that is when my vibration started.

In my experiance, pry bars don't work as well, especially on the drivers side. Slide hammer + Special tool FTW! Glad you got her fixed up Chris, wasn't so bad huh?

Well it was not the hub. Swapped it out and still random vibrations at moderate throttle.
I did happen to look at the lower motor mount when i was under there and saw that it was disintegrated on one side of it, so one side is about 1-1.5" lower then the other side of the mount. I was able to touch it and it started to rub off. So guess it is off for lower motor mount next.
