I started a thread earlier and its a long story. so new one, i just bought this car, it had a crap ton of performance mods on it. not even a week after i had it, some dik-wad ran a stop sign and hit me resulting in me rolling it and got it totaled. :( now im looking for a new GTP and i WANT to swap out the motor, tranny, as well as ALL of the performance mods sinnce they were not harmed. i admit, no i am not a pro and know all of my stuff, obviously or i would ot be askn for help. so if anyone knows what i can do, please let me know. i have heard about dave from triple edge, i jus want to look around more to see what my options are. i dont want to get rid of the motor. so any advice or info would be GREATLY APPRECIATED. if your a gp fan like i am, youlll know how i feel. and no im not lying about the parts that are on it, that would make no sense since im asking how to put them back on.... so yea help me out plllllllzzzzzz. :)
 


If you find someone to help you swap the parts and is able to tune. I would find a nice gt and swap out your parts to the high comp block. You will need some one to tune it tho. Or you can find a gtp with a blown engine/trans and just swap it all.
 


yea thts wut i was thinkn. and its actually cheaper to find a gtp then a gt for sum reeason. i jus am concerned it will cost me about 3k
 
If for some strange reason you end up wanting to part ways with any of it... Im sure the mods will sell quick !
 
yea ive had a lot of ppl tell me that. and i guess if it came dwn to it i would but it kills me cuz im going to want to put the same stuff on my next car and it will kill me to pay full price all over agian lol
 


yea, but if u sell the stuff you could probly get into a nice f body or more sturdy platform for go fast goodies
 
yea, i just put tons of money into my GP so i guess im a tad bitter when the engine took a dump...dont mind me..lol
 


Let the insurance company total the car and buy it back. Take the mods off it that you want, sell the others. Sell the car to the junk yard. Buy a GP you like with less miles. Put mods on new ride.

And for the record it still makes me cringe.
