Trunk wont pop

One day my back up light fuse blew which is connected to the keyless remote system. and i couldnt pop the trunk even with the yellow button. replaced the fuse and all was good except now the keyless remote wont pop the trunk! the yellow button will, and when i hit the remote the lights flash showing it recieves the signal but the signal doesnt go to the trunk release. any know why? or have a wiring diagram so i can try to trace a short?

this is a huge problem for since i shaved the trunk keyhole off :(

factory remote, everything else works on it and i have others and they all are the same. i know the car recieves the signal because the lights flash and i hear the lights relay. but it doesnt go to the trunk... and the trunk release itself works because i can push the yellow button in the glove box.
 
Typically the remote sends the signal to the RFA (remote function actuator) that them sends the signal to the appropriate connector of the BCM (body control module) and that makes things happen. Since you are getting the button inside the car to work, then the fuse for the trunk and the relay are working. You know the remote works, so then the question is....why isn't the bcm getting the signal to trigger.

do you have an FSM? The schematics should tell us where to look for the wignal on the wire.
