Hi guys, Mike here. I have a 2001 3.8 and have no heat. How would a guy know if it is just the blower motor? The motor was changed last year, shouldn't go this fast? I have heard some people say that the area around it can look like it has been submerged under water, could I be leaking rain and snow in there? I need to take a look tomorow, as my truck will be tied up. lol It is -20 outside, so I would like a quick fix for some heat. Any help would be awsome.

Thanks,
Mike

The blower resistor is a common failure on these cars. The blower motors also fail when you get the leak that happens at the bottom of the windshield and water drips into the motor. You will need to get under the dash with a meter and check to see if you are getting power to the blower when you try to turn it on.

Thanks for the help. I will see if there is any power, didn't know if I could check anything while it was still on the car. Is there a quick fix for the leak, if that is a problem?

Thanks,
Mike
