went on my mac, that red one looks clean, the black one has too much done to it already for me to buy it cause i would rather mod from the beginning myself and i personally dont want a cam but that red one looks good.
 




Try Adding seafoam tranny fluid to the oil I've even seen people use diesel fuel.

It could be tapping because it's gummed up with crap. Seafoam, diesel fuel, and tranny fluid can clean the crap off and get rid of your tick. Just make sure to changed your oil when you are done.

Well you could try some Lucas oil in there, they also make some other additives that you can add to your oil that might help. But the Seamfoam, diesel fuel or tranny fluid, then new oil would be the best.

Thicker oil (conventional)

Or a bit of diesel

Or just replace.

A few options but lifter noise is pretty common in our motors so don't steer it to much
