So I was under the impression the transmission should disengage when in park? Like, in drive it should automatically try and spin the axle, but in park it should stop trying to spin the axle, right?
 


Okay. Because I broke my passenger CV Axle yesterday at the wheel and the rest of it going into the transmission kept spinning while in park/any gear. And sometimes, when my car is in park not moving it will read up to like 5 or 6mph. Usually only happens shortly aftet a cold start. Just curious.

When I broke my axle, I couldn't move at all and I believe it's due to my ABS/TC being shut off due to a bad wheel hub/wheel hub wires being broken. Again, not 100% certain that will only produce power from 1 wheel or not but I believe thats how it works?
