Which tranny other than the 02 4t65ehd works with the 02 gtp. Need to find a trans just dont know which are.compatible

C'mon man, this has been asked atleast once or twice and don't give that I "tried" to search excuse.
Anything from 97-02 will bolt in. BUT 97-00 have different trans fittings on the tranny and radiator, those will have to swapped to work.
It MUST be a 4T65e HD though. Anything from a GTP, regal GS or SSEI bonneville (depending on year).

five it it were up to me i would have locked this thread right before I posted just so nobody answers it then point him in the right direction

Just asking because.the info im getting from the transmission shop.is.that only the 02 will.work and i.wasnt sure being that a 4t65e-hd came in numerous vehicles. Thanx though now ive got clarification
