transmission

so I have a 06 grand prix gxp, it had a rebuilt transmission with all new cooler lines about 20k miles ago and it actually works perfectly. when rebuilt it was built to handle more hp(I believe around 400 ish bhp) so rn the transmission temps typically stay in the 130-150? range and if ran hard and long enough will only get up to 170? at the very very most and ive only seen it get that high once otherwise gets to about 155 at the highest. I'm pretty sure that these are great temps for it to be at but should I still put a cooler in? I really want this transmission to last a long time especially since I wanna push around 350 bhp here in the next year or so and keep it around that hp

Those temps are great.

If you want your trans to live a long time, keep the fluid under 190 (which it looks like you are) and change the fluid often.

FWIW, it's okay to spike your fluid temp up over 200 or even more as long as it comes back down fairly quickly. Sustained high temp is what kills things.
