Hopefully I posted this in the correct place.

I bought a 98 GP that recently had the transmission rebuilt with papers to prove it. everything seems to be fine until WOT pulls, instead of shifting from 1st to 2nd it just starts slipping and (I think) hitting the rev limiter, I;m not a 100% because I let off the throttle before it gets really bad.

I have torque pro and monitored the trans temp and it always holds at 160F

1.5* kr at WOT

Any help would be appreciated. I can answer any questions if this is not enough info.

98 GTP 13k on rebuild 201k on clock.
