So not banned.
This afternoon I went down to walmart to pick up some shiz for the wife. I drove the cobra and took the long around. I got into the throttle a little bit passing a gas station on a 4 lane highway. I didn't see him till he was in my rear view tearing ass out of the gas station parking, but there was an LT1 camaro, and he was after me. They pull up next to me and the passenger yells at me asking if I want to run. I shook my head no, and right about then we come to a four way stop with a redlight. Four cars in front of me, and three in front of him. He stays back a car though to talk to me, I found the conversation that followed kinda funny....

Driver: Is that a real shelby?
Me: Um no. It's not a fake shelby either, why do you ask?
Driver: Stop acting like you don't know what I'm talking about, your license plate says shelby on it.
Me: Yeah that was the county I lived in, in TN.
Passenger: There aignt no county called that around here.
Me: (puzzled look)
Light turns green, traffic begins to move, and before the LT1 closes the gap between him and the car in front of him I hear this....
Passenger: Whatever you call that piece of sh*t, you should get your trans looked at because it's whining like crazy.

thats what happens when you dont change your turnsignal fluid and muffler bearings all at hte same time...... [facepalm]
 
Never understood why it's like..

You're drivin a nice car, and a guy that feels like his car is faster has to make it out like you're a total asshole for driving a car that he SEES as less..

They act like you insulted them just by driving the car, and they gotta make it a point to try to harass you.

Like you're drivin a nice Mustang so they automatically think "Oh, he's driving around in a mustang, he must think he's hot sh*t... well WAIT TILL HE SEES MY SWEET ASS RIDE, I better go hassle him to make a point of how much better my car is!"

I hate people that think they're better than you just because they feel like their car is faster.

I can understand being proud of your car and feeling like it's better than other people's cars, but it's just bs to act like someone is less because of it.

Yeah I don't know, maybe he thought I was trying to show out in front of him or something. It was a little 3-4 second blip, I just wanted to hear the S/C. I don't really care about them being assholes about it, allot of Fbody guys turn their nose up at mustangs. Most of them aren't stupid enough to think the eaton whine was a transmission problem though lol.
 
Should have gone somewhere secluded and raced him once but peddled a loss.

Then race him again for $200....and win.
