first off id like to introduce myself. im jamie from ohio, i have an 01 grand prix(actually its my girlfreinds). today on my way home from work i got ran off the road and into a snow bank. i tried rocking the car to get it out and the car just stopped moving, it would rev up but that was it. got towed home and after it sat for a little bit it went into gear again but as soon as it warmed up it wouldnt move again. i havent had time to go thru it and check anything yet, any ideas? thanks in advance.

The first thing I would check is the transmission fluid level. This should be to the Full mark on the stick with the engine running and transmission in park range. You could have damaged a cooler line when you went off the road so that is the easiest thing to check. If that is ok then you may have done some damage to your transmission trying to get it out of place and is hard on it trying to push it when its stuck or rock it back and forth.
